I realized it's been a little bit since I wrote a review. I was eating a grill cheese and drinking coffee, till my little child stole my grill cheese because apparently his lunch wasn't good enough. I still have my coffee thank goodness.

I actually haven't been reading as much I normally do, which is still a lot (haha) there was one day where I didn't read and it was weird. I've been watching the Marvel series with my friend so I've been a little preoccupied watching all of them. Did you know that like all of them are over 2 hours?! Re-watching movies are so time consuming. I love them all so I'm not complaining it just takes all my reading time.

So I finished a few books that I don't plan to write a lot about but still would like to write something about them. The first book is called Dark Secret and its by Danielle Rose.

It was one of my books to read this year and I didn't realize it was a 8 book series. It was a smaller book, which I actually do love shorter books. I mean 184 pages isn't like a short story but you know what I mean. So this book is about Witches and Vampires. They hate each other. It's about a girl named Ava. She is one of the witches, there magic is based on all the elements and hers is more a mental magic I believe. She has this feeling that shits about happen and no one believes her because she's young. She takes her bestfriend out on a hunt and ends up getting attacked by a rouge vampire and then another vampire comes and she begs him to save her and she changes her knowing that she's going to become one. Basically this book is about her and becoming a vampire and trying to contain her hunger and so on. I had started the second book but I can't seem to really get into, it's good. I really like it but I don't seem drawn into it like I do most books. I know it will get better and have more drama in it as its only book 2 of eight, I'm pretty sure there's a romance brewing but it's hard to really tell as its referred to as her sire. I don't try to read what they're about till I get to that book. I do love the whole story background of this book, with the intricate of the magic world and how their magic works.

My next quick read was called Rock You by Candy J. Starr

I really like this one, it has 5 books in total book 4 is a standalone about another character and book 5 is a short story about the original couple. This book is jammed packed with drama and lots of stuff happens.

Ruby is a hermit and likes being alone, she takes a job as a caretaker who she think is this old man and needs to clean his house. Its messy and and looks like no ones cleaned in forever. After a few weeks of cleaning and finally getting it in shape with food and what not. She knows he isn't some old guy and he does something stupid like start a fire in his bedroom by accident, but he was smoking and well the whole place went in flames.

In all this you find out Tex is from a former band and something happened so he is hiding away in this house.

The studio is one part of property that didn't get burned down so he ends up living in this small area with her and she's all like what?

This book ends at a cliff hanger and you need to read all three plus books to get the ending, sadly I have not read those yet. Tex has to do this festival to make money to help build his house back or otherwise he'll have zero money left.

Rudy sorta realizes that she just isn't what he needs and thinks after this festival he won't be the same guy that used to hold her at night. So it ends with her going home and waiting to see if he comes back to her or not. I mean its a romance novels I know they end up together. I am always curious on the how I supposed and does the story break my heart into tiny

I defiantly think this story has potential and it made me want to read the next book right away but however it wasn't free on my app and I didn't want to buy it yet. I'm cheap I know but i have so many books to read.

There was another book that I wanted to review here but I feel it might be a bit of a longer one because I royally enjoyed it ;)

That was a horrible pun but it works. Its actually from first book about BDSM and Dominatrix culture which I enjoy and its not even the main part of it! Phew it was a goodie. Anyways this took forever to write because my child just couldn't sit still. I'll write about that book if all goes well.
