It's prostitution. 100%

I'm not even sure when I got this book, I added it to one of my too read books for 2021 and I briefly read the description and said sure why not!

Also a heads up that this will have spoilers as there's no way to avoid it because I need to ramble about this book and expect swears. I swear like a sailor when I get heated about something. also lots of sex involved.

It starts right away with saying that they paid a girl a half a million dollars to sleep with one of these guys. You don't really understand why but they seem to know that this girl is in a lot of debt cause her mom had cancer and the bills were really bad. so you know there's two guys at this point. so I'm thinking three sum? uh not exactly yet

She actually shows up and they talk briefly before Keegan starts just making out with her and then they start the foreplay and go from there. Also her name is Julianne but they just call her Jules. like them. ill get to that

So as they are having sex or foreplaying she keeps thinking she hears something or can sense something or someone in the room. In the book it sorta goes back and forth a bit to each character so you can see how that one is feeling and thinking.

Eventually she just flat out asks Keegan if the other person in the other room is going come out and join or just watch. he says something about how you probably wont like what you see and she's like let me be the judge of that. so eventually a guy comes out. His name is Erik, you find out that half his face is scared because there was an explosion at their lab.

side note, Keegan and Erik own a business that's huge. its electronics company and have lots of money. clearly..

Much talking later you find out Erik has basically been a hermit for two years cause everyone stares and just isn't the same person as he was with all the scars. so maybe I'm thinking its like a beauty and the beast kinda book??? does she get to leave the house after this?

the whole point in this was Erik was supposed to watch Keegan have sex with Jules because they like to share. its their kink. its something they discovered back in college. okay. I mean everyone has their thing.. Erik didn't think Jules would want to have sex with him otherwise.

Jules tells them that the scars don't bother her and eventually they have this really intense three sum together. now personally the sex scene is done quite well. I've previously read a series about poly relationships so I've read a few three sum sex scenes previously and the difference between this is the the two guys don't do anything together its all about Jules and she's "in the middle" between them. you hear it ALOT in the books. you kinda get a feeling at the end of this that there's no something more. the guys state they've never done this before. as in paying someone to have sex with them. so at this point its prostitutions regardless how you look at it. Jules eventually goes home after some mind blowing sex.

TWO WEEKS GOES BY and not one of the guys call her. it was over Christmas but eventually Keegan show up at this catering things she does and they have sex in a closest and its just weird but hot. he tells Erik, Erik tries explaining to her why they didn't call. Erik and Jules then have sex but in this talk Keegan gets pissed drunk and eventually just walks over to Eriks house cause the walk will sober him up. who the fuck drinks a bottle of tequila? that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Keegan comes over and witnesses them laying together as they just had sex and I'm pretty sure they end up doing it again. like jesus there is so much sex in this book in the fucking crazy. doesn't anyone get sore or tired or just need a break? some peoples sex drive is insane.

After much days go by they talk and have much more sex with each other, you know the guys both like her and she likes both of them but doesn't want to choose one. they start talking on how this is going to work as how they've never shared a relationship before.

so before I even say how they do this, we need a back story of Erik and honestly the story is super sad.

there was an explosion in their lab that Erik was there for. you sorta find out that someone sabotaged it and Keegan has been by his side the whole time with guilt because its was something Keegan was working on. they think the explosion wasn't done to hurt Erik but just to destroy the lab but Erik happened to be there. so 4 or 6 surgery's later he said no more and just didn't care anymore. so Keegan does all the public appearances with an earpiece talking to Erik at events.

They go on this date with all three of them and you know people stare, its just human nature but Erik was realizing that people were staring at Jules how he knows how society works and they will judge her for being with two guys cause its not the normal in life. so he says look you date Keegan and I'll be just waiting at home afterwards so we have crazy hot sex. Jules and Keegan both don't actually like this idea at all cause they want him to be involved. but he just says its best for everyone for this.

after like a week of this Erik gets information from his sister whos in law that she figured out who caused the explosion, which leads to Keegan and Erik not talking for awhile cause Keegan doesn't want Erik going back into his hermit life and yaddadada. Jules is sorta stuck in this mess and is like wtf do I do? is it even worth it for these guys do I love them. she talks to her mom who seems overly okay with this and there's only so much a mom can do. and this girl Carol who actually set this thing up and even tells her that she did it cause she knew that shed be the best thing for them. its kinda cute but like the money?! it causes a problem. would she have done this if it wasn't for the money in the beginning?? who knows.

Eventually she calls them and goes on two different dates with them, making dinner for both of them to see if they are worth it. after two days she calls them to hang out with her friends, I guess its also a test to see how they handle all three together. they do it they have fun. no one seems to care. eventually they come to agreement and they say it worth it and agree to be in this weird relationship. AND THEN IT JUST ENDS.

there's nothing more to the story. more shit happens in the book but like I want more to story I want to know how they make it work and the things they do. I will admit I did enjoy this story way more than I should have. but now I just feel empty and wanting more. and I don't think there anything more.

I honestly thought there was going to a scene where the two guys do shit together but I guess I can't have everything.

This was not what I was expecting when I started reading this book.
